Cuando  se traduce  la letra de la canción Let it be de los  Beatles al castellano queda uno sorprendido de la hermosa que es, un homenaje a la virgen María.

Y pensar que este grupo de músicos británicos, fueron los mismos que años después en una desacertada declaración a la prensa internacional dirían un  sacrillegio “Los Beatles somos más populares que Jesucristo” Causando malestar entre la comunidad protestante y católica Inglesa  y norteamericana. Los fanáticos más radicales  religiosos de estos grupos, sacarian los discos de los Beatles y los quemaban en hogueras  en sus antejardines.
